Map War of the Clones Certified

gmc.jimmy has created an EDT file for use with the map War of the Clones.  This map is similar in gameplay to Labo, but a lot scarier.

Map Labo Certified

gmc.jimmy has created an EDT file for use with the map Labo.  This map is similar in gameplay to World 1, but a bit shorter.

Second Map Contest Completed; Third Started

Voting for the second contest is complete and the winning maps are:

• Combine Cube by CMaster with 7 votes
  
• Graveyard Shift by CyderBashr with 5 votes
  
• Roof by nickelrodent with 1 vote

The third, and final, contest is already underway.  This contest, themed as Winter/Arctic/Christmas, will be worth double points and ends December 23.  VOSK has expressed interest in participating.

Sharing Health and Riot Act

Today, Synergy has released version 10, which includes a number of fixes and improvements.  Most notable are the addition of support for the Riot Act mod (thanks in part to community member contributions by gmc.jimmy) and also the addition of the drophealth command, to share health with teammates.  Also added two new maps, Bunker and Desolate.

Second Map Contest Voting Underway

The second Synergy mapping contest polls are now open.  There are three maps in this contest, which is themed Survical Horror.  Try them out on the contest server, or otherwise, and vote on your favourite.

Fix for Windows Servers

Version 9 was released to fix the Windows servers.  There is no update for Linux.

Hal-Life Two is Really Required Now

Update 8 has been released, and includes checking of ownership of the games you mount, and improves the third-party mode.

Some Windows server owners are having problems with this update, but Linux has no such issues.
